Sara Schroer is moving into a full-time Teaching Assistant position after being with us part-time for the past few years. She will be working with our Maple and Crape Myrtle classes. Sara holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cornell University, a master's degree in Psychology from Indiana University, and a doctorate in Psychology from UT Austin. She has conducted developmental psychology research for over a decade, publishing award-winning articles in top-tier journals. Sara's research addresses topics such as word learning, attention, parent-child interactions, and motor development. Sara has experience implementing NAEYC standards, using positive guidance, and planning emergent curriculum. She also has a deep understanding of child development and significant experience mentoring undergraduate students.
