Taara Clarke is our new full-time Teaching Assistant. She will be working with our Plum and Magnolia classes. Taara holds a bachelor's degree in Cognitive Sciences from Rice University and a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. For the past few years, Taara has been providing out-patient therapy services to children and families. Before that, she was a teaching assistant at the University of Michigan's North Campus Children's Center, where she learned about the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Taara has extensive experience nurturing inquiry and play, observing and documenting children's development, and facilitating social and emotional learning.
